Healthy Fats (Lipids) are essential for optimal health. High density lipoproteins (HDL) are required for healthy cell formation and integrity. As well as being responsible for transport and absorption of nutrients (vitamin’s A,E,K&D) through the lymphatic system. These fats are also crucial for hormone production, digestion, brain and organ function and most importantly thay have strong anti inflammatory effects.
Chronic systemic inflammation is characterized by many autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases and obesity. research suggests that HDL exhibits anti inflammatory and antioxidant effects that reduce cancer risk and show profound beneficial immune system effects that destroy abnormal cells.
Including essential fatty acids in your diet has many health benefits, including strengthened immune systems, lowered cortisol, better skin and improved mental and physical health.
